Dance to Heal, Dance to Help

Creative Steps School of Dance invited New Hampshire Dancers to come together and share their talents to raise emergency funds to provide urgently needed medical attention, safe drinking water and other necessities in Haiti. I performed as a guest artist in the ‘Dance to Heal, Dance to Help'. One hundred percent of the proceeds were donated to the Save the Children Haiti Earthquake Emergency Fund. Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.

On Thursday, February 12, I joined the Rochester Relay for Life Team at Frisbie Memorial Hospital for an inspiring gathering. This incredibly passionate group of volunteers, team leaders, survivors and care givers raised $180,000 in 2009. In 2010, we are working to raise $185,000 to save lives by helping people stay well and get well, find cures and fight back.

I was honored to serve as guest speaker at the kick-off. I look forward to speaking at the Relay http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=23431 on June 25-26, 2010. Please join me to Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.

Along with weekly youth meetings the youth leaders of Christ the King Church of Dover, NH take the teens out about once a month for a fun outreach event to get to know the teens more, and continue to build relationships. This month we went to Roller Skate Newington. I forgot how much fun it is to have wheels on your feet! Here with some of the great girls in the youth group…Morgan, Tiffany, Danielle, and Sarah!
