Working with The Working Dog Foundation

Miss Strafford County helped present awards at the Annual Working Dog Foundation Dinner.

Since 1995 The Working Dog Foundation has raised over $200,000 with every penny going to the training, purchase and support of the police dogs. WDF is 100% non profit with NO PAID STAFF and the only nationally accredited police K9 training site in New England.

25 days to Miss Strafford County!


Congratulations to Olivia Karpinski on a wonderful, busy year as Miss Strafford County!
Olivia led the 2008 Seacoast Heart Walk at Wallis Sands State Park and helped raise over $88,000 to fight stroke and heart disease in New Hampshire.
Olivia also represented Strafford County beautifully at the 2008 Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program where she was honored with the Meg Geraghty Community Service award, which brought with it a $1,500 scholarship. Olivia also won the non-finalist interview award worth $500 and the George Naum Congeniality Award worth $1,000.
Thank you Olivia for a wonderful year of service!

Miss Strafford County Teen details...

The Miss Strafford County Scholarship Program will feature a Miss Strafford County Teen and Miss Strafford County Pre-Teen program on Friday, October 3!

Contestants will arrive at 6pm ready to walk into interviews followed by a 7pm stage competition as a pre-show to the 2009 Miss Strafford County Scholarship Program which begins at 8pm.

The judges criteria will be:
30% Five Minute Private Interview with the Judges
30% Talent
20% Evening Gown or Party Wear
20% On Stage Question

There will also be a Spirit of Miss Strafford County award presented to the teen contestant who has demonstrated dedication and commitment through participation in programs like Miss Strafford County's official service event: Macy's Shop For A Cause at the Newington Mall and volunteering with the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program at Gillette Stadium.
