Thank you to Gary DeColfmacker from the Dover Rotary for a wonderful tour of the Strafford County Complex http://www.co.strafford.nh.us/. It was an honor to meet High Sheriff Wayne Estes http://co.strafford.nh.us/sheriff.aspx and hardworking NH State Police in a Training Class. I've lived my entire life in Strafford County and it was fascinating to meet the people who run our county.

Thank you all for the warm hospitality. I look forward to representing Strafford County in the 2010 Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program next week and promise to do my very best to make you proud!

Celebrate Pink Women's Expo

Here with Wendy McCoole who is the founder/ director of the first 'Celebrate Pink Women's Expo' in Eliot, ME where over 300 participants, more than fifty vendors, and many volunteers came together on April 2^nd to make the very first ‘Pink Expo’ a success. Proceeds from the event will enable BreastCancerStories.org to launch its new programs: My Breast Cancer Support. I will never forget some of the faces, and the stories of women and men who came up to me at the registration table. It was an honor to serve them.

Post Surgery 'Passionately Pink Pilates Workout'

Serving as Miss Strafford County has been an amazing opportunity to meet incredible people who generously donate their time, passion and expertise to help others.

On April 1st, I was honored to work with Master Trainer Clare Dunphy of Peak Pilates (pictured) in her Classical Pilates Studio in Newburyport, MA and Naomi Aaronson to co-produce a 50 minute video called 'Passionately Pink Pilates Workout' --for six week post surgery breast cancer patients.

I am so grateful to have worked on this project as a Peak Pilates instructor and advocate for breast cancer patients. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with Naomi Aaronson, a nationally known presenter and author. Naomi is co-author of the learning CD Breast Cancer Recovery: On Land and In Water and The Breast Cancer Recovery Exercise Program. Naomi works to educate fitness professionals throughout the world.
