The Miss New Hampshire Ball!

Miss New Hampshire week has officially started! Last night was the beautiful Miss NH Ball organized by the amazing Paula Moore.

I was proud to be escorted by my dad and joined by my mom and older sister, Jessica. We had a great time with the volunteers, directors, and the other 25 local titleholders and their families!
Tomorrow morning I move into the hotel and start a busy week of competition. I have interview on Wednesday. Thursday night is Swimsuit and Evening Wear. Friday is the Talent Preliminary. And finally on Saturday night we will find out who Miss New Hampshire 2009 will be!
Don't forget to get your tickets for Thursday (show time at 7pm), Friday (7pm), and Saturday (6:30pm)! xoxox Jenn

First Day in Vegas

My Miss America experience started at the airport at 4:30 am this morning where I hopped a plane and headed to fabulous Las Vegas! When arriving at the hotel we received our room keys and who was on them? None other than the beautiful Kristen Haglund, the current Miss America!

My next stop was of course the Miss America Trade Show. Imagine hundreds of beautiful gowns including a new line by Miss America 2000, Heather French. I think its safe to say I will be making a few more trips to the Trade Show!

After a little rest it was time to go cheer on Natalie Shaw as she competed in Onstage Question where she spoke about her platform with poise and intelligence. I'm sure she blew the judges away! The night ended with a short visit with Natalie and some of the Miss New Hampshire family. Now stay tuned for more updates... tomorrow Natalie competes in Swimsuit and Evening Gown. Go Natalie!

Miss America Week!

It was a snowy trip to the Miss New Hampshire Tea Party but a great day! There were dozens of DELICIOUS desserts to enjoy while watching some of the incredibly talented women of the Miss New Hampshire Organization. It was also so great to talk and dance with some special guests like Emilee and Brooke Mills (Emilee a former little sister queen of mine!).

I'm off to Las Vegas tomorrow morning at 5am so be sure to stay tuned for Miss America LIVE updates!
