Passionately Pink on Ice

A passionate thank you to all of the sponsors, performers, volunteers and Dover City Officials, especially the Dover Arena’s Ray Pasquale and Pat McNulty, who helped create the first “Passionately Pink on Ice” benefit at the Dover Arena on Saturday, January 23, 2010 to celebrate National Skating Month.

Thank you to our passionate sponsors who made the event possible: Holy Rosary Credit Union, Northeast Planning, Associates in Family Dentistry, Christ the King Church, Edra Toth’s Academy of Dance & Music, Tina Lyon's Classical Pilates of Dover, Salon 903 Central, Racing Limo’s of NH, The Works Family Health & Fitness Center, Blue Dolphin Screenprinting, Sweet Meadows Flower Shop and Love Radio 1340.

I’d also love to thank our ticket sellers at the Dover Ice Arena, Care Pharmacy, Nicole's Hallmark, Miss Gate City Bess Brooks and Miss University Margo Reola.

Top Team USA skaters from as far away as Lake Placid, NY traveled to the Dover Arena to skate for the cause. Thank you to Esprit de Corps (2010 Eastern Champions), The UNH Ice Cats (2010 Eastern Bronze Medalists), The Lexettes (2010 International Medalists & 2010 Eastern Champions), The Sharper Edge (2010 Eastern Championship Round Finalists) and soloists Olivia Cama, Leslie Gelsomini, Anastasia Marchuk, Christine Magill, Matthew Swinton, Caroline Cherry, Nick Moormann, Erika Lehman, Kat Howland, Maria VanGeystelen, Emma Clarke and 2010 New England Novice Ladies Champion Mia Eisenhandler skated with grace, magic, power and passion.

A near capacity crowd enjoyed a magical performance to benefit a wonderful cause. If you missed the show, it’s not too late to support the action, education and advocacy work of the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition, please send donation to the NHBCC at 18 Belle Lane, Lee, NH 03861-6438.
