Miss Strafford County 2012 Lauren Carter made her first official appearance at the 2011 Portsmouth Illuminated Holiday Parade on December 3rd with Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen Lauren Percy. The theme of this year's parade was "A Caring Christmas" and more than 5,000 pounds of food was collected for local food banks.
