A favorite moment from the UNH Annual Holidazzle Party at the Whittemore Center. I had fun volunteering with Chantel McCabe, Miss Deerfield Fair 2009 http://www.missdeerfieldfair.org/ helping children sign holiday cards to send to military bases overseas. http://www.unh.edu/holidayparty/index.html

Senior Wellness Expo
I was honored to visit the Rochester Elks Lodge today for a special event sponsored by the Strafford County Committee on Aging and Frisbie Memorial Hospital. The Senior Wellness Expo was a great opportunity to meet new friends and learn more about the local experts and resources for seniors, their families and caregivers. There are excellent facilities and innovative programs in Strafford County.
I loved meeting Laurie Widmark to learn more about The Ageless Dreamer Foundation which works to make dreams come true at any age, encouraging our oldest generation to dream out loud. For more information visit http://www.agelessdreamer.org/.

Lions, Tigers and Strawberry Shortcake. Oh my!
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. So when I was asked to judge a costume contest, I jumped at that chance! Last night at the Annual Kid’s Kostume Kontest at The Lilac Mall in Rochester, I joined Mike Pomp and Andy Schachat from WTSN to choose the best costumes in the age ranges of 0-2, 3-5, 6-9 and 10-12.
Talk about some creative costumes! A light up robot, a carton of milk, and a huge slice of pizza just to name a few! There were lots of beautiful princess too.

Thank you again to The Lilac Mall, Profile Bank, The Bay, WTSN, J, Andy, Mike, Resha, Ashley and Jeff for inviting me to Celebrate Halloween. I'll be joining The Bay to help at next week’s Caring and Sharing Food Drive. For more information on how to donate visit http://www.987thebay.com/. See you then!

This weekend's adventure.
How does flying a plane sound? Saturday afternoon I took a drive to Emerson Aviation (New Hampshire's Oldest Fixed Base Operator - "Clouds Above The Rest") at Laconia Airport and had my first ever flying lesson! Do you see a resemblance between the captain and I? Well that is because she is my older sister, Jessica Clements.

The Big Little Soirée
I had such a great weekend volunteering at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast's 4th annual gala fund-raiser, The Big Little Soirée, at the beautiful Wentworth by the Sea. I had the opportunity to meet hundreds of board members, friends, families, and of course big brothers and sisters as well as wonderful little brothers and sisters. Hearing all of their stories was so inspiring, I can't wait to get involved with this great program! http://www.seacoastbbbs.org/

Take Your Marks...Get Set...Go!
Wow, what a great weekend here in Durham! I met tons of alumni, Durham residents and students early Saturday Morning at the Homecoming 5K Race. Thanks to WTSN’s Andy Schachat, I had the opportunity to sound the start (“Runners Take Your Marks”) and hold the finish line.
The Wildcats had a great weekend with a win for the Men's Hockey Team against Wisconsin and the Football team had a close game with solid effort.
After the Homecoming events, I joined Miss New Hampshire Natalie Shaw at the Pampering for a Purpose event in Tilton to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. What a successful and fun event that was!
Thank you so much to Andy Schachat for inviting me to help out at the race, and of course the Miss New Hampshire organization and the Tanger Outlets for holding such a terrific service event.
Saturday night, I attended the inaugural Miss Monadnock Scholarship Program in Wilton to cheer on all of the talented contestants and congratulate the new Miss Monadnock Samantha Massahos.
I’ve enjoyed a wonderful, very busy first week as Miss Strafford County and can’t wait to see what adventures next week holds! Jenn
