World Habitat Day 2009 - Building Houses, Building Hope

On Oct. 4, I was honored to celebrate World Habitat Day in Farmington with a Groundbreaking Ceremony for Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity. This beautiful new home will be a duplex for two families. Thank you to Liz, Joan, Bob, Meg, Cheryl and everyone in Farmington for an incredible introduction to Habitat for Humanity.

Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry that builds quality, affordable homes in partnership with deserving families in the greater Portsmouth, Newington, Newcastle and Strafford County region of New Hampshire. Since its founding in 1990, the organization has built or rehabilitated 15 homes in Dover, Gonic, Northwood, Rochester, Somersworth and Farmington.
